Designing the Future of AI-Ready Experiences
With 25+ years in UX, AI, and interactive design, I help enterprise teams simplify complexity, modernize systems, and build digital products that work beautifully at scale.
My Bio
I’m Trey Secord, Principal UX Designer and founder of Pix3l LLC, with over 25+ years of experience with UX, AI, and interactive design. My work centers on creating meaningful user experiences with a focus on product development, collaboration, and the integration of user-centered and AiX (AI Experience) design principles.
I specialize in agentic design, AI prototyping, design systems, responsive design, information architecture, user research, product research, visual design, wireframing, and product owner duties (when needed). I also bring expert-level skills in Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Audition, and Ableton Live.
I’ve had the privilege of designing and delivering products for clients including John Deere, Microsoft, T-Mobile, Boeing, Wayfair, Syngenta, Newmont, Amazon, Telespine, MFR Therapist, Shimano, LibTech, and the Los Angeles Chargers. Across industries—agriculture, manufacturing, finance, entertainment, healthcare, and retail—I’ve applied deep B2B expertise to create digital platforms that scale, integrate seamlessly, and deliver measurable value for organizations, stakeholders, and their customers.
Originally from Washington State, I grew up just outside Seattle, where I raced bikes and skis on icy mountain slopes. That same curiosity fueled my passion for technology—first by dismantling my parents’ electronics to see how they work, then building R/C cars and computers, and later contributing to innovations in the electronics industry with Viper R/C and the Copperhead VX4. I’m currently a UX Design Principal for a large agency in Denver Colorado.
Clients & Collaborations
From tractors to TikTok, spreadsheets to snowboards —I’ve teamed up with some of the biggest names (and a few hidden gems) to design experiences people actually love using. Whether Fortune 50, startup hustle, or somewhere in between — every project gets the same mix of craft, curiosity, and a little bit of playful spark.
